Effortless and Effortful Milestones

There are milestones that a person reaches arguably due to personal effort. These I term effortful milestones. On the other hand, there are those that run after you and which no matter how fast you run, always catch up with you. These I call effortless milestones.

Effortful milestones leave you with a sense of accomplishment. Effortless milestones leave you questioning what you have accomplished besides the milestone that just blindsided you.
